Our pricing is fair and reasonable and great value considering the quality of musicians we offer.

Our quotes are based on the information provided by you i.e. number of musicians you hire and the length of time performed and also location distance from the inner west of Sydney (where we are based)


HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?

At Sydney Jazz Company we have a professional team, essential for your peace of mind when booking an important function or your wedding.

HOW DO I BOOK THE BAND?

If you are happy with our quote & want to book us, simply

  • Send a return email to info@sydneyjazzcompany.com.au or email us through our contact page. After accepting our quote ( include your full name and details, booking time and date and full venue details )

  • Leanne will be in touch to receive a 30% deposit payable by c/c over the phone.

  • Once your deposit is received Leanne will send an email with confirmation of your booking along with a copy of your c/c deposit transaction.

  • Full Payment will be required on arrival on the day/evening of performance. Please inform us by email who will be the person to approach when we arrive.

  • Payment by Cash or C/C only.


WHAT SYDNEY JAZZ COMPANY AGREES TO PROVIDE ON THE DAY/EVENING?

  • First and foremost the musicians that are on the website will be at the gig (unless one is sick or unable to attend). We are not a booking agency - we are a band and you deal directly with us and know the quality of your performance is assured

  • We will perform sophisticated jazz standards from the great American songbook, such as swing from the Ellington years, groove from the Blue Note years, Bossa Novas from the sixties, great timeless ballads, Latin and Samba.

  • All music is performed at the right level of volume to suit the occasion (such as a dinner gig that will require softer volume , so people can converse and yet appreciate and enjoy the music, alternatively for a party or ceremony we can swing or groove at the appropriate level for dancing.)

  • We are polite and well dressed, looking sharp in black suits and white shirts unless you request other attire.

  • We will provide a small P.A. ( sound system) adequate to fill a venue capacity of approx. 200 people (if you require a microphone from our P.A. for speeches, please book this in with Leanne so we are prepared)

  • We will provide ipod music in the breaks through the P.A. in the same style music that we play.

  • We will arrive 60 minutes before the gig to set up and sound check.

  • We will pack up within 20-30 minutes of the last song performed.

  • We will perform for 45 minutes of each performance hour and have a break for 15 minutes.


WHAT (YOU) THE CLIENT AGREES TO PROVIDE ON THE DAY/EVENING?

  • Full payment on arrival at gig to be paid by cash or C/C ( we carry mobile eftpos machines)
  • Easy access to 240 watt power outlet for the band.
  • Stage of adequate size for musician’s to set up comfortably.
  • Available cool drinks for musicians during the breaks.
  • For gigs longer than 3hrs a meal for the musicians is not expected but would be much appreciated.


CANCELLATIONS?

We require 14 days’ notice for a cancellation.

The deposit will be non-refundable if cancellation is made before 14 days
